This morning diving started at 06:30 at Guraidhoo Corner, after the dive guide checking the current strength it was announced as mild. We jumped near the corner so that we don’t spend more time swimming from the outer reef to the entrance of the channel and gained a bit extra bottom time to observe the blue and the entrance.

Few gray reef sharks patrolling the mouth of the channel, white tip reef sharks resting on the bottom and a school of eagle ray were among the highlights of the dive.

After the dive we crossed the channel to southern Ari atoll Omadhu Thila, with a mild current we began the dive at the up current.

After a while we drifted more close to the reef and passed a huge school of Humpback Snapper, few white tips resting on the sandy bottom and many others.

Kahanbu Thila was the third dive; this was a relaxing and easy dive not much action underwater just the usual fish life.

The visibility remains more than 30 meters during the 3 dives and the current was mild today.

Final anchorage is Dhangethi Island lagoon and after anchoring few went off to island.

Tomorrow is a big day; searching for whale shark followed by Manta Point.
