An atoll only for channel dives.
Wake up was at 6:00 and dive briefing at 6:30 for Kandooma Thila as a request from all the divers. On our way to the dive site spotted a small school of Dolphins so we followed them for a while.
The current was slow to medium incoming. This gave us the chance to do this dive same as yesterday. The fish life was great as yesterday including Gray Reef Sharks, Napoleon and Eagle Rays.
After the first dive we sailed to Vaavu atoll. It took about 2 hours to reach the atoll.
Second dive was at Medhu Kandu (Middle Channel). The current was mild and running in to the atoll. We started the dive at the outer reef and swim to the channel entrance. At the entrance of the channel were Gary Reef Sharks, White tips resting on the sandy area and school of Eagle Ray swam close to all the divers at the end of the dive.
Bolikey Corner (also known as Miyaru Kandu). Briefing was done at 15:00 and the current got stronger in the afternoon but the channel entrance gave us a good show of sharks.
Our final anchorage for the day is near by a sand bank south of Alimatha Resort and guests who wished took a trip to the sand bank towards sunset time.
