While Adventurer 2 wrap up for the week, Black Pearl’s first dive this morning was at Dhigga Thila.

With a medium current we began the dive from east and drifted towards the caves and overhangs. Dive came to an end at the top reef after spending enough time closely observing the healthy hard coral garden.

Second dive at Dega Thila; This not very large and unique formation of reef is the perfect place to dive if you love small stuff, sponge, black coral and many more.

Taking as much as time you need to observe the reef, caves, overhangs is worth at this Thila and you never know what you will discover. Today’s highlight was two Frog fish and one green leaf fish.

Dhoinkalo Thila (Manta Point) as the third dive, with very strong current we jumped and drifted to the point where the mantas gather. Staying at the point for more than 45 minutes and having not seen a single manta we decided to start to ascend.

We might check out Dhonkalo Thila again tomorrow if we get the right current, for today final anchorage is near Maalhos Island.
