Diving started this morning 06:30 from 5 Rocks, with almost no current and clear visibility.
We jump few meters away from the Thila and stayed on the up current. After a while to the reef, diving through the tiny channel which is formed between the 5 coral heads, the clear visibility gave added bonus to this dive.

After the dive masks, fins and snorkel on board Black Pearl and off to search whale sharks.

Whale Shark Number One:
Just right at the corner from Maamingili Reef was the first one and all could see and snorkel with it.

Whale Shark Number Two:
After 20 minutes we saw the second one and again we all could snorkel.

Whale Shark Number Three:
For the second dive we jumped to the outer reef from Maamingli Island and into the 20 minutes of the dive came the third whale shark and after some time a huge school of Mobula’s, few white tips and a leaf fish. Almost everything big to small, gliding to camouflage……….. Perfect dive!!!!Nothing more can be asked for.

For the third dive we moved to Rangali Madivaru on the western side. There was strong out going current. We jumped a bit away from the cleaning station and swam. At the outer reef white tips, napoleons and jacks passed by.

On the cleaning station were 2 / 3 mantas at all times of the dive.

After the third dive we moved to the Barbeque Island Raidhigaa and all off to the beach. The weather is great with over 29 degrees Celsius and strong sunshine with a mild breeze.
