Caves and over-hangs: Great place for macro photography.
After a great barbeque dinner last night, diving started at 06:30 hrs at Dhigaa Thila. The current was mild this allowed the divers to swim around the swim-through’s observing the soft corals and the fish life inside the overhangs.
On the reef top are large table corals and different other hard corals displaying a beautiful coral garden.
Lhamiyaruga Thila; A site where juvenile white tip reef shark and gray reef sharks are often seen, we saw few white tips, tuna, octopus and a marble ray. Under the coral blocks on the top reef provides rest area for lots of white tip sharks.
Another hour of boat ride took us to this site known well for the formation of this beautiful reef, Dhega Thila. The reef is inside the atoll, protected from current. Schools of batfish, lots of macro life including a glorious flat worm,
Overnight 10 minutes boat ride due west of Dhega Thila.
