After having a great day of seeing Whale Shark and Manta rays, diving began today at 5 Rocks.

5 Rocks; one of the famous dive site in Dhigurashu Kandu in terms of coral growth, reef formation and fish life, around 25 meters of visibility and a mild incoming current we had a fantastic dive to begin the day.

Second dive to Kunburudhoo Thila (also called Lahmiyaru Gaa Thila). With almost no current we began the dive from the up current and continued to circle the Thila. There weren’t much action on the up current but we manage to see 2 gray reef sharks and a guitar shark resting on the sandy bottom.

At 14:30 we anchored inside the lagoon from the barbecue island, Raidhigaa and went off to dive at Raidhigaa Thila.

The current remained the same as pervious dives so there weren’t much big fish but we go the chance to observe the caves and overhang where the colorful soft corals thrive, to the top reef where a perfectly healthy garden of hard coral displays.

After the dive off to the island for the barbecue dinner on the island.
