From Whale Shark to Manta Rays.
First dive we did at Maamingili Outside hoping that we might see a Whale Shark but today we were not that lucky. We saw 8 White Tip Reef Sharks resting on the sandy area, a school of Mobula (Devil Ray) and the very usual fish life we see every day.
Second dive we did at Kudhi Maa Wreck (Machafushi Wreck). This is an arifical wreck scuttled by the island Machafushi Resort just for the divers. This was a nice and easy dive saw big school of Bat Fish, many Lion fish, White Tip Shark and Honey Comb Morey Eel.
Third dive we did at Rangali Madivaru (Manta Point). The current was at the right direction to do this dive. Of course the blue stripe snappers was there and we saw 6 Manta Ray’s for 10 minutes and 02 Mantas was on the cleaning station and after that we saw 04 mantas passing by.
We are still at south Ari Atoll near the Manta Point as we are planning to dive there tomorrow morning.
